How to Prepare for Spinning Class at the Gym

Do not know how to ride a bike? Would like to get on a bike but you are afraid of falling? No need to concern yourself with the unnecessary. Climb on a stationary bike and let us ride!

Instructions
Things You'll Need:

* Gym membership, water bottle, small towel. In addition you may want to wear you gloves, shoes with clips and a cushion seat cover.

1.
Step 1

Motivate yourself to get to class. It will be worth the challenge.
2.
Step 2

Adjust the seat to reach hip level.
3.
Step 3

Push the seat in close enough that you won't lose contact when you are riding. The instructor will sometimes ask you to get up on the bike. You must always reach your seat easily.
4.
Step 4

Adjust the bike handle bar to your liking. Some prefer them lower; others higher.
5.
Step 5

If applicable, place your seat cushion on the seat.
6.
Step 6

Place your towel across the handle bar and position your water bottle in a convenient location on the bike. There should be a water bottle holder. Sometimes there are two. If the bike is missing this feature, lay the bottle across the handle bar. Just be sure to have water because you will definitely need fluids.
7.
Step 7

Sit up on the bike. Nice and straight. Your feet should be straight in the petals; not facing downward. All throughout the ride, you will want to keep your feet positioned straight in the petals.
8.
Step 8

Always stretch before commencing the excercise. If the instructor skips right over stretching, make the request.
9.
Step 9

Turn the petals in a fast motion to warm up the body. You will have an instructor that will guide you throughout the class.
10.
Step 10

Challenge yourself. The agony will be over in an hour, and you will walk away feeling better.
11.
Step 11

Enjoy it while it lasts. Smile! Motivate yourself and others by making noises of appreciation. Let out a little bark--ruff!

Forbes Riley

Forbes Riley is in the news today as the charming infomercial host revealed her own invention, the SpinGym, on the Discovery Channel’s show, Pitchmen.

She said:

“It was a thrill to be part of Discovery’s PITCHMEN, as infomercials is gain recognition as a viable way to market new products. My dad was an inventor who could never get his products to market, and though he’s been gone for almost 9 years, I think he’s smiling down as I launch my very first one. SpinGym is turning out to be an inspiration for so many people who have been frustrated with saggy upper arms. I’m often asked how I stay in shape as a busy working mom - and my philosophy has always been ‘do what you can, when you can” - so taking the stairs instead of the elevator, passing on the bread at dinner, but now with SpinGym in your pocket - you really can get a quick effective workout in, anytime, anywhere.”

The product itself weighs less than a pound, and offers up to 20 pounds of resistance with every pull. You can see how the SpinGym works in the video beow.
