Latest reports emerging from the battle front reveals that LTTE leader Prabhakaran, his intelligence chief Pottu Amman and Soosai, the Head of the Sea Tigers are still alive and are being pursued. According to the Sri Lanka Army, the Special Forces Commanded by Colonel Atula Kodiipili and Special Commando Brigade commander Colonel Ralf Nugera are at the moment engaged in fierce battle 100 meters south of A35 road. The Sri Lanka Army which is bent on releasing the news on an installment basis, said the LTTE leader V. Prabakaran, Intelligence chief Pottu Amman and Sea Tiger Leader Soosai have been encircled.
EARLIER THERE WAS AN INTERVIEW WITH THE TIGERS FROM CHANNEL 4 WHICH ALSO INDICATED THAT PRABHAKARAN IS STILL IN THE FIGHT. THERE IS NO POST AFTER 10. 23 PM YESTERDAY, HOWEVER SOME TAMIL BLOGS DO MENTION FIERCE FIGHTING STILL ON.
